How to get my art into your hands

Protection
All artwork (on paper, canvas or panel) is wrapped in a glassine envelope and sandwiched between oversize protective boards inside the shipping envelope. I do not mat or frame paper artwork, that is best done by the buyer or recipient. (I do mount paper artwork to a cradled panel for an extra fee as specified in the Shop.) Canvas or panel based artwork is generally ready to display upon receipt, unless otherwise specified. All my artwork receives an acrylic isolation coating and a UV protective mineral spirit varnish for protection from light and dust.

My pricing includes sales tax at my local California sales tax rate, 9.5%. Shipping is additional.
Artwork up to and including 9×12″ will be shipped in a USPS Flat Rate envelope with insurance and tracking.

Local Collectors: arrange to pickup artwork or art prints locally (San Gabriel, California or adjacent communities only). For details or limits on local pickup, please contact Me.

Artwork larger than 9×12″
Shipping and handling costs are based on the size and weight of the package, cost of packaging and materials, shipping time, tracking and insurance during shipment. I ship using either FedEx, UPS, or the USPS, depending on which is cheaper for a specific destination, with a preference for using the USPS whenever possible. (Approximate shipping costs can be calculated with FedEx Shipping Calculator and their One Rate prices.) Shipping costs vary depending on the artwork size, destination, and speed of delivery desired, with all artwork being shipped from California (91775).

Package Tracking
Once the I post the package, I will contact the buyer via email or text with tracking information. Please be sure that contact information is correctly entered in the order form.

Timetable
Shipping time is generally one to two (1–2) weeks from when an order is placed: though sooner can happen, it is best to plan for 2 weeks. Shipping times can be affected by seasonal, climate or other unavoidable circumstances. If by chance I am unable to get a piece shipped right away, I will contact the buyer via email, text or phone call using information provided during purchase.

Shipping currently unavailable for Alaska, Hawaii, Territories of the United States or international shipping. Please contact me if you live in one of these areas and are still interested in purchasing artwork.

Damage in Transit

I need to be notified of damage in transit within 1 week (7 days) of receipt of the package.

If a package with my artwork is damaged upon arrival, please take a photograph BEFORE opening it from all angles. Please document damage to the artwork inside, and email the photos to me directly using the contact information inside the package. All shipped artwork is insured, I will pursue a claim with the relevant shipping service, but I will need the recipient of the package to document damage thoroughly in order to do so, and possibly the return of the artwork.
